Our members treat children with complex dental health problems who need the time, skill and consideration that we can provide. The value of our services to patients and fellow dental professionals is reflected in many thousands of referrals to see a paediatric specialist every year in the UK.
The objects for which the Society is established are to promote the study and practice of orthodontics, to maintain and improve professional standards in orthodontics, and to encourage research and education in orthodontics, all in the interests of best patient treatment and care.
The British Society of Prosthodontics (BSSPD) aims to promote education, training and research in the field of prosthodontics. Our membership is diverse, and is open to dentists, doctors, scientists and other dental care professionals who profess an interest in fixed, removable, implant or maxillofacial prosthodontics. We remain in touch with general practice as well as academic dentistry. The Society plays an active role in providing CPD opportunities for both members and non-members via webinars (live and ‘on-demand’) and our annual conference which is held every March.
