According to the Mobile Data Association, text messaging volumes will reach 60 billion in the UK for the whole of 2008.
The BDTA is aware of the trend towards text messaging and the convenience it offers and has added it to the ways in which you can reserve tickets for Showcase in 2008. Members of the dental team wishing to reserve tickets by SMS simply need to text their name, address and occupation to: 07786 206 276.
Tony Reed, Executive Director at the BDTA, commented, ‘In addition to the telephone, online and postal means of advance registration, we are pleased to offer potential visitors the chance to register by SMS for tickets to Showcase this year. We recognise that a growing number of people choose to communicate this way and we want to make registration as easy as possible for all members of the dental team.’
