Enjoy a Showcase milkshake

In keeping with the ‘Recipe for Success’ theme promoting BDTA Dental Showcase this year, there will be an exciting food themed feature area within the exhibition hall throughout the three day event.

Visitors will be able to enjoy tasters of delicious milkshakes made exclusively for Showcase 2008. Milk, fresh fruit and other surprise ingredients will be used to create special milkshakes in a range of tempting flavours.

The benefits of nutrients such as calcium and phosphate found in milk in helping to protect tooth enamel, prevent tooth decay and ensure teeth have a normal healthy structure are well documented. It has also been suggested that milk helps to reduce the effects of cariogenic foods on teeth when consumed together in the diet.
