Rebecca Evans, Marketing Executive at the BDTA, is undertaking a research project investigating the attitudes towards CPD in the UK dental industry. This is part of a dissertation for an MSc qualification.

Many dentists have recently completed their first five year cycle and in an effort to understand perceptions and satisfaction with the current system, Rebecca needs to conduct a focus group and a set of interviews with dentists practising in the UK.
With well over 5,000 dentists expected to attend Dental Showcase, the event provides the perfect opportunity to undertake the research. We are looking for three dentists who are willing to be interviewed during Friday 3 or Saturday 4 October. The semi structured interviews will be tape recorded and take approximately one hour to complete.

We are also looking for 8-10 dentists who are willing to participate in a focus group during Thursday 2 October. The focus group will last between one and two hours.

The interviews and focus group will be conducted privately in the press suite and participants will not be named in the research.
