Celebrity MasterChef winner appearing at BDTA Dental Showcase 2008

The BDTA is delighted to announce that Liz McClarnon will be making a guest appearance at Dental Showcase on Saturday 4 October 2008.

Liz will visit the ‘Recipe for Success’ feature stand, where we will ask her to sample our special recipe Showcase Milkshakes. Liz certainly has her own recipe for success, being part of well-known band Atomic Kitten, and, most recently, emerging as the winner of the BBC’s Celebrity MasterChef competition. Throughout September Liz has been using her culinary expertise giving cookery lessons on GMTV’s LK Today programme.

Being constantly in the public eye, Liz knows the importance of having a good smile. She will enjoy meeting members of the dental team at Showcase and says, “I’m really looking forward to learning a bit more about the behind the scenes aspects of dentistry.”

Travel news

The DLR rail service between Westferry and King George V/Beckton, and between Stratford and West India Quay is being replaced with a shuttle bus on Saturday 4 October 2008. Visitors should travel to Canary Wharf on the Jubilee line where frequent buses (every 10 minutes) will be available direct to ExCeL.
