Showcase 2008 campaign - A recipe for success!
BDTA Dental Showcase continues its successful run with yet another award for the 2008 advertising campaign. For the third consecutive year, BDTA Dental Showcase has received an award for the ‘most outstanding advertising’, according to a recent survey commissioned by BDA News.
The Ad-Q study, conducted by independent research company Harvey Research, provides feedback for advertisers on how well adverts are seen and read in a particular issue of the magazine. It also provides feedback on areas such as buying influence and actions taken as a result of advertisements and articles. Of the readers who are responsible for advising or making recommendations, an impressive 67% recalled seeing the Showcase advertisements.
Tony Reed, Executive Director of the BDTA, commented “As well as allowing the use of colourful, appetising pictures, the ‘Recipe for Success’ theme introduced the concept of eating, which centres on the mouth and linked both food and dentistry perfectly. We always put a great deal of thought into the theme to adopt to market Showcase because the campaign runs for almost nine months and results in the UK’s largest dental exhibition. We are delighted to receive this award for a third consecutive year.”
